1/17/11
1. My parents. Today is their anniversary! I am grateful for their good example of how to make a marriage work. I really feel like my parents are happy! And I am so thankful they have made their marriage work.
2. A nice quiet work day. Everyone else in our building and in the finance industry got Martin Luther King Day off today. I am choosing to see the glass half full, and feel grateful that it was a pretty much stress free work day!
3. The nice people at my new office. Everyone is oh so much nicer than at my last office! Holy cow! Just so I can remember the names: Heather Riggs, Casey Bauer, Kevin Phillips, Shauna Judd, Marc Fletcher, and of course, Tom Gledhill.
4. Bringing Robb's leftover tacos for lunch. So freaking good. And I was so proud of myself for bringing a lunch!
5. Zumba! I got the Zumba workout for the Xbox Kinect for Christmas. Tanner and I did it for the first time tonight. It was dang hard, but a lot of fun!

1/16/11
1. Lazy Sundays. I know I might regret it tomorrow that I have been laying around all day, but it just feels so nice to do that once in a while!
2. My Stake Calling. I am the Nursery Leader in the Stake Primary and I have to admit that I have been feeling a little burned out lately. But today I really felt appreciative of the women I work with, and the amazing kids in the Nursery. I got to spend 2 hours hanging out with the cute Nursery kids in my ward, and they really are so much fun! And so dang cute!
3. Rocky Road ice cream. Last time before my diet starts tomorrow!
4. Robb's cooking. He made Lynan's chicken tacos. Holy cow. So freaking good.
5. Talking on the phone with my mom. It is always good to catch up. She is having a hard time living all the way down in St. George and feeling a little lonely. It makes me sad for her . . . but I am so grateful that we can talk on the phone without astronomical phone bills.

1. Colllin's drive to do his best. It comes out during wrestling, and I love to see him passionate about what he is doing!
2. Impromtu lunches. We invited Jen and her kids for a last minute lunch at Carl's Jr. Good times!
3. I am so grateful that Kade has good friends!
4. I am grateful for Kade's change of disposition. He is trying so hard to get along with everyone, and it shows! We all feel grateful for that.
5. My nephews. I love them so dang much! I really didn't know it was possible to love someone else's kids that much, but I totally do. Granted, they are my sister's kids. But I really do just love them like crazy. I should note that I love all my nieces and nephews though! I just got to hang out with Jen's kids today, which made me so grateful for them.

1. Having a day off!
2. Having a chance to watch a movie in the middle of the day. Robb and I watched Grown Ups (Adam Sandler movie). It was ok. But so great to kick back and watch a movie!
3. Popcorn. To go with watching movies. The perfect movie watching snack.
4. Time to get chores done . . . like the laundry. Which I was horribly behind on!
5. Getting along - Robb and I haven't had a fight since our New Year's Day blow up. Yay!

1. A nice warm shower on an oh so cold morning.
2. Funny people that make me laugh! This morning on the radio I was lauging out loud listening to the DJs talk about cross dressers. Apparantly Kelsey Grammer's soon to be ex wife is revealing that about him. Which let to a laugh out loud discussion.
3. DVR. Wow. What would I do without DVR. I have so many shows that I love, and no time to watch them! I am thinking that if I can make a little treadmill time, I can make a little DVR time.
4. Flexibility.

1. For quirky dates like 1/1/11. I love that kind of stuff! Especially since my birthday is 4/06 . . . and I see the number 406 everywhere.
2. For Heather at my new office helping me get settled in. With so much scandal going on, it is great to have someone who is nice and helpful.
3. For a boss that appreciates me! Tom told Michele that I am a "godsend" and he sent an email saying, "You're the best...I seriously count you as on of my life's best blessings." That made my day!
4. For Kade's new found good mood. He is like a different kid. And we have all noticed it!
5. Robb's grilled chicken. Sooooo good. He is a grilling wiz!

1. That I still have a job, despite my boss' demotion.
2. People who hold the door open for you. Especially when you have a giant pile of stuff you are trying to carry and simultaneously open the door.
3. That Robb is always willing to help me out with work stuff. And Tanner too. They helped move Tom's office stuff. The heavy stuff, after work hours.
4. McDonald's dollar menu. I would like to thank McDonald's for providing dinner tonight for my family for only $13.
5. Going to bed early. Ahhhhhh. I literally dropped into bed and fell asleep. It was awesome.

1. Snow! We woke up to fresh snow, and it just looks oh so beautiful! And luckily, we don't have to drive in it much today. So we can just enjoy it from inside.
2. 9am church. It is tough to get up for, but heavenly to get home at noon, and have the rest of the day to do whatever!
3. That Kade and Tanner will get to go on the Pioneer Trek in July. We went to a fireside about it tonight, and they are just going to have an amazing time! I know it!
4. Good examples and good leaders for our boys. We are blessed to have good people in our lives!
5. Sunday dinner. Robb made roast, potatoes, carrots in the crock pot. Good stuff! And even better that I didn't have to make it!

1. Waking up early, while everyone else sleeps in. I just love a quiet house.
2. Having a dishwasher. Ours died around Christmastime, which was a scary reality to face. Life without a working dishwasher. So, Robb bought a used one of ksl.com, and it works great! I really don't want to think about life without a dishwasher.
3. Work for Robb. Carpet cleaning is picking up. Yay!

5. Family time! Even if we are just watching a movie (Vampire Sucks . . . I know, I know). We all seem to love some good family time.

2. Collin wanting to snuggle with me on a daily basis. Tonight he patiently waited for me to get off the phone with my mom so we could snuggle.
3. Crystal Lite Energy packets. Unfortunately, I cannot start the day without caffeine. Fortunately, Crystal Lite tastes pretty good, and it keeps me going.
4. New jeans. I found some bargain jeans at Ross. Seven7 jeans for $20!
5. Office Supplies. I just love them. I just love walking through Office Max and seeing all the great and wonderful organizing possibilities.

2. My job! Especially since there are some changes with my boss and I moving to a new office and our region splitting. Everything feels so uncertain right now. So I a extrememly grateful to have work!

1. Good friends to get it all out out with. I had one heck of a heart to heart talk with Diane tonight, and it was great to talk.
2. The Cheesecake Factory. Not only do they have great food, but they didn't kick us out and were really patient with Diane and I taking up a booth the whole night long.
3. Having a job. At least for now. Things are all the sudden very uncertain with my job, which makes me want to hold on tight! It might be a crazy ride.
4. Robb. For not being at all bugged that I was out all night and taking care of all things at home while I was gone.
5. My new day planner. It just gives me hope of being super organized in the New Year!

1. Having a heater that works. A few months ago, we didn't and it stinks to be freezing cold. The temperature has been down to the teens . . . which makes me really thankful for our heater!

3. My boys. I have the greatest boys. I love them oh so much! And I am in awe of how much they make me happy and laugh on a daily basis.
4. A good ward. There are so many people that I love in my neighborhood and ward. I will be so sad if we have to leave it.
5. Redbox. I finally gave Redbox a try, and we rented two movie - the newest version of Robin Hood with Russell Crowe, and the newest version of Shrek. I can tell I am going to be a big fan of Redbox and their $1 movie rentals.

1. The promise of a New Year!
2. New Year's Resolutions. They make me just WANT to be better. I really hope the losing weight resolution will work this year.
3. My family. We had such a fun New Year's Eve bash. I am oh so lucky to have such a great family. And I love that we are close and have a great time together.
4. Robb. Even though we had a monster fight, that even brought up the D word, I am grateful that he puts up with me and my imperfections. Especially since I expect him to be perfect. Which he is far from, let's be honest! And so am I!
